Old Friends
In the Summer of 1989 Mark Mervis and Joe Hoskins met at a jam session in Kingsport, TN. Their mutual love for great songwriting, melodic progressions and harmony singing turned a chance meeting into 35 years of playing and performing together as "Old Friends". In addition to their involvement with Blue Mountain Saints, Old Friends bring their two man show filled with 30+ years of memories, to venues and private events all over East Tennessee and SW Virginia.
Mission
An Old Friends show is a journey down a musical memory lane that will include songs from the 60's - modern day with a focus on the good stuff. This, coupled with their songwriting collaborations make for a great time at every performance
